(To the scout members visiting from Portugal and Malaysia, A heartfelt and sincere welcome to our university.) 세계스카우트 잼버리는 세계 청소년들을 하나로 이어주는 국제행사입니다. (The World Scout Jamboree is an international event that brings together youth from around the world, uniting them as one.) 마음껏 즐기고, 나누고, 꿈꾸는 행사가 되어야 합니다. (This event should be a time for you all to enjoy, share, and dream to your heart.) 그런데 태풍과 그 밖의 여러 가지 이유로 스카웃 대원 모두가 야영지를 떠날 수밖에 없는 상황이 되었습니다. 대한민국 국민의 한 사람으로서 매우 안타깝고, 미안하게 생각합니다. (However, due to the typhoon and other circumstances, The situation has arisen where all scout members had to leave the campsite. As a citizen of South Korea, I feel deeply sorry and regretful for what we faced.) 그렇다고 여러분의 스카우트 활동이 멈춰서는 안 될 것입니다. (Nevertheless, your scout activities must not come to an end.) 더욱더 풍부하고, 흥미로운 활동을 통해 유종의 미를 거둬야 할 것입니다. (There is a saying that “all’s well that ends well.” Through the various and interesting activities. I hope your scout activities end well.) 이를 위해 우리 전북대학교도 가능한 모든 지원을 아끼지 않겠습니다.
