Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) will hold a large-scale job fair to provide current students, graduates, and local young job seekers with up-to-date recruitment information and opportunities for field-oriented career planning.
The Division of Career Support at JBNU will host the '2026 JBNU Job Fair' on September 16, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Jinsudang area. More than 50 leading companies and organizations will participate to present company-specific job roles and recruitment information, and to conduct one-on-one consultations with job seekers.
The fair will consist of company consultation booths, recruitment information sessions, career competency enhancement programs, and interactive experiential events. At the company consultation booths set up in the 1st- and 2nd-floor lobbies of Jinsudang, participating companies will explain job duties, required competencies, and recruitment procedures, supporting students in assessing their job preparation status and in developing concrete career strategies.
In particular, JBNU will create a separate Secondary Battery Zone linked to regional strategic industries. By inviting companies from related sectors to introduce job characteristics and hiring demand, the fair will enable students and young job seekers to examine changes in future industries and potential entry opportunities.
Company recruitment briefings will also be held at the 77th Anniversary Hall and Glocal Hall. Around five companies and institutions will participate to present hiring information, preferential conditions, and welfare systems, providing an opportunity for job seekers to gain a deeper understanding of each company's desired candidate profile and job-specific competencies.
In addition, a range of programs covering job preparation and participation will be offered, including personal statement and resume consultations, interview coaching, fingerprint aptitude tests, personal color analysis, caricature drawing, and a four-shot photo booth.
President Yang O-bong said, "This job fair provides students and local young people with an opportunity to directly confirm changing industry sites and companies' hiring needs, to communicate with current practitioners, and to concretize their career plans," adding, "I hope many students and young people participate and use it as a practical step toward employment."
