Application Procedure

Admission Guide Download

• Step 1 Access the Application Website
  • Go to the JBNU IOA website (http://ioffice.jbnu.ac.kr) and check the notices.
  • Create an account and log in to the application portal (https://www.uwayapply.com).
• Step 2 Complete the Application Form & Research Plan
  • Review the admission guidelines carefully and fill in your personal information.
  • Upload the required documents: transcript, recommendation letter from a JBNU professor, and photo.
  • Submit a Research Plan answering these three questions:
    ① Personal statement and motivation
    ② Detailed study plan
    ③ Future goals after graduation
• Step 3 Pay the Application Fee
  • Use a credit card or bank transfer to make your payment.
  • Your application will only be processed after payment is confirmed.
    (Incomplete payments will result in cancellation.)
• Step 4 Submit Required Documents
  • Collect all required documents (as detailed in the admission guide) and send them by post.
  • Missing the deadline will result in disqualification, even if your online application is complete.
  • If you cannot meet the deadline, send scanned documents via email in advance.
• Step 5 Interview
  • Interview dates will be announced on the official website.
• Step 6 Admission Results
  • Results will be posted on the JBNU website (www.jbnu.ac.kr) and sent via email.
• Step 7 Tuition Fee Payment
  • Pay the tuition fee within the designated period to confirm your admission.
• Step 8 Apply for Visa
  • Students outside Korea: Apply through the Korean embassy in your country.
  • Students already in Korea: Apply at the Office of International Affairs at JBNU.
• Step 9 Begin the Semester
  • Arrive in Korea and begin your semester as scheduled.
