Welcome, students of JBNU, to the start of the 2026 second semester.
On September 1, 2026, JBNU held a welcome snack distribution event for students arriving on campus for the start of the 2026 second semester. President Yang O-bong, University Headquarters officials, and student council officers personally handed out snacks to students and offered words of welcome and encouragement.
Starting at 8:20 a.m. on the morning of the first day of classes, 3,500 servings of sandwiches and beverages were distributed to students across the campus. University Headquarters officials personally greeted students hurrying to campus and encouraged them to begin the new semester with energy.
As university members handed out snacks to students, greetings and smiles were exchanged, creating a lively atmosphere across campus. In particular, the event in which the President and officials personally met students and exchanged new-semester greetings provided an opportunity for close communication with students and helped foster a warm, student-centered campus culture.
President Yang O-bong said, "I am honored to be able to meet and encourage the students starting a new semester," adding, "We will continue to actively support students so that they can enjoy a successful university life, and we will cheer on their dreams and challenges."
