Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Institute of French and African Studies (Director Professor Jo Hwa-rim) will run an African cultural education specialist training program titled "Strengthening Digital Media Literacy Competencies" from July 24 to July 31.

This program will take place in the 5th-floor lecture room of the Humanities & Social Sciences Building at JBNU. Sessions will be held daily from 2:00 PM for two hours, and on Thursday, July 30, a field visit to a digital media company is scheduled. Students and members of the public interested in the African continent and the humanities are eligible to participate, and online registration is open from June 22 to July 12 (https://naver.me/FvTQkLBd) can be completed. In addition, participants who complete at least 80% of the total instruction hours will be awarded a certificate issued by the Institute.

This course was planned as part of the Humanities & Social Sciences 3.0 (HK3.0) project being carried out by the JBNU Institute of French and African Studies. The Institute intends to foster a regional humanities ecosystem by linking academia and society and by promoting knowledge sharing.
