The Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Family Center Project Group (Director Prof. Yun Myung-sook), which operates the Jeonju City Family Center (Center Director Lee Hae-kyung), held the '2026 Whole-Family Support Project Regional Stakeholder Consortium' meeting on May 27 with members of the regional stakeholder consortium in attendance.
The meeting was convened to review the operation of the 'Whole-Family Support Project' and to strengthen practical cooperation among institutions. Public and private specialized agencies in the region participated to respond more effectively to diverse family issues.
At the meeting, participants shared the project's direction and discussed plans for resource linkage and role allocation to support families in crisis. The consortium serves to coordinate community resources and strengthen inter-institutional cooperation to assist families facing complex difficulties.
The Jeonju City Family Center plans to continue strengthening integrated support for vulnerable and at-risk families facing economic, emotional, and caregiving challenges, and to support the recovery of family functions by identifying and linking regional community resources.
Center Director Lee Hae-kyung said, 'Family problems have a complex nature that is difficult to resolve through the efforts of a single institution alone. I hope the collaborative system established through this consortium will function as a safety net that all families in the community can rely on.'
