JBNU will hold the 'JBNU Career and College Admissions Fair' to provide high school students who are considering their career paths with opportunities to experience majors and explore tailored career options.
The fair, held over two days on the 28th and 29th at JBNU's Jinsudang and Academic & Cultural Hall area, is expected to be attended by approximately 3,100 local high school students, teachers, and parents.
Ninety-seven departments, including the Department of Nursing, will participate in the fair, operating department-specific booths and explaining major characteristics and career directions directly. Students can experience a variety of academic fields on site and explore their aptitudes and career paths in detail.
An experiential booth for 'AI JOB,' the career and employment integrated platform developed by JBNU, will also be operated. At the booth, students can directly experience career-planning support functions, such as AI-based analyses of employment prospects by company. It is expected to attract students' interest.
A program demonstrating the outcomes of the Glocal University 30 project has also been prepared. JBNU will run a Digital ID-based 'J-Card' enrollment event as part of efforts to open university infrastructure to the local community. The J-Card is an integrated mobile service that supports library access, resource use, and program registration. It enhances user convenience through non-face-to-face enrollment and an automatic approval system. To date, 12,236 J-Cards have been issued, contributing to expanded access to university resources for local college students and residents.
In addition, JBNU admissions officers will take part and provide one-on-one, personalized counseling on the 2027 university admissions process. Prospective applicants and their parents can obtain more detailed information about the changing admissions system and preparation strategies for each screening type.
Ahn Jeong-yong, Director of Admissions at JBNU, said, 'JBNU holds the Career and College Admissions Fair every year to provide high school students with practical career-experience opportunities and to help them choose a major when entering university. This will give students a chance to explore their aptitudes and career paths and to better understand JBNU's admissions system, which is based on the regionalization of admission units.'
