Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Department of Business Administration (Chair Chae Jun-ho) announced on the 2nd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Yujin REITs Asset Management (CEO Kwon O-jeong) to train professionals in the fields of climate finance and alternative investments.

The agreement was established to build a leading Industry–University Collaboration model in the emerging key competitive areas of climate finance and alternative investments, and to contribute to youth employment creation and the development of outstanding talent in the local community.

Through the agreement, the two institutions will cooperate to cultivate professionals who will lead responses to climate change and the advancement of sustainable finance, and will conduct industry–university collaborative research to revitalize alternative investment markets such as real estate and infrastructure.

They also agreed to join forces to promote youth employment, regional development, and talent cultivation, supporting innovative growth in the local community.

Chae Jun-ho, Chair of the Department of Business Administration, said, "We expect this agreement to go beyond symbolic meaning by providing students with opportunities to acquire field-centered practical skills and to serve as a landmark of mutually beneficial industry–university cooperation that integrates academic research capabilities with financial practice."
