Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Sports Pre-Early Startup Support Center (Director Guk Gyeong-su) announced on the 26th that it will support participation in the 2026 Seoul International Sports & Leisure Industry Exhibition (SPOEX 2026) to promote local companies and revitalize the industry.

SPOEX is a leading domestic sports industry exhibition jointly organized by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation and the Korea International Trade Association. More than 300 companies and organizations participate to showcase the latest trends in the sports and leisure industries.

In particular, in cooperation with Jeollabuk-do Special Self-Governing Province, JBNU organized a joint pavilion with three local sports startup companies. They will exhibit on site until the 29th to present their products to consumers and domestic and international buyers.

The participating companies are Ninos, which is presenting a modular team bench; Dosinongchon, which developed a tomato-based sports beverage; and Core Solution, which operates an automated platform for sports facility reservation and ticketing.

Through this participation, the JBNU Sports Pre-Early Startup Support Center aims to externally showcase its sports industry foundation and growth potential, with a focus on strengthening Jeollabuk-do's status as an international sports city.

Guk Gyeong-su, Director of the JBNU Startup Support Group, said, "We are pleased to be able to provide follow-up support to outstanding graduate companies," adding, "We will work to support further exhibition participation and to connect them with buyers."
