"Welcome to the new semester, students of Jeonbuk National University (JBNU)."

JBNU held a snack-sharing event on March 3 for students attending campus to mark the start of the new semester. At the event, President Yang O-bong and university headquarters officials, along with student council officers, personally handed out snacks to arriving students and offered warm greetings.

From early in the morning at 8:20 a.m., 3,000 servings of sandwiches, fruit, and beverages were distributed to students at locations across the campus, including the main gate, west gate, north gate, east gate, and the museum entrance.

The campus was filled with a warm atmosphere, with words of thanks and bright smiles exchanged like the approaching spring. Many students, with snacks in hand, shared laughs with friends and savored the excitement of their first day on campus.

A freshman who received a snack said, "Being welcomed by the president's encouragement on the first day of the semester makes me look forward to university life," and added, "Buoyed by the president's warm encouragement, I will pursue my university life with even greater passion."

President Yang O-bong said, "We prepared a small gift so that our students can start the new semester energetically and in high spirits," and added, "We will continue to actively support students through various events and programs so they can enjoy a successful university life, and we will cheer on their dreams and passion."
