Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Startup Incubation Center (Center Director Professor Guk Gyeong-su) and tenant companies of the Hope Jeonbuk POST-BI (entrusted operation) were recognized in 2025 for their outstanding technological capabilities and business performance. A total of eight companies received various commendations, demonstrating the competitiveness of the regional startup ecosystem.
MSENG Co., Ltd., a tenant of the JBNU Startup Incubation Center, received a commendation from the Minister of SMEs and Startups at the "2025 Truly Good Small and Medium Enterprises & Small Business Owners Awards" for its contributions to regional development, including factory expansion and increased investment in the region and prioritizing the hiring of local talent.
MSENG Co., Ltd. has been achieving continuous sales growth in the modular construction market by mass-producing products that are easy to transport and assemble, based on its specialized prefabricated booth manufacturing technology.
In addition, at the "2025 Startup Technology Innovation Expo" held last month, organized by the Jeonbuk Regional Startup Incubation Council, six tenant companies of the JBNU Startup Incubation Center and Hope Jeonbuk POST-BI, along with one manager, received commendations in the startup merit category. On that day, Allwell Co., Ltd., a Hope Jeonbuk POST-BI tenant, sponsored the event by providing its premium wellness brand "AromSoi" sleep beverages, adding significance to the occasion.
The Jeonbuk Regional Office of SMEs and Startups awarded commendations to E&Co Co., Ltd. and EcoSteel Industry Co., Ltd. The Jeonju Mayor's Award went to Eptlus Co., Ltd. and JK Life Science Co., Ltd. The Gunsan Mayor's Award was presented to WineoBio, and the Wanju County Governor's Award was given to P&F Bio Co., Ltd. (Agricultural Corporation).
E&Co Co., Ltd. is an eco-friendly comprehensive energy engineering company that designs and constructs clean energy plants, including LNG facilities, and recorded sales of 5.3 billion KRW as of late June 2025. EcoSteel Industry Co., Ltd. is a steel manufacturer that developed the regenerative steel "EcoBeam," which minimizes carbon emissions, achieving sales of 3.3 billion KRW in the first half of 2025 and securing investment of approximately 150 million KRW.
Eptlus Co., Ltd. is an "urban mining" company that recovers eco-friendly anode active materials and strategic metals through recycling used secondary batteries, recording export performance of 30 million KRW as of June 2025. JK Life Science Co., Ltd., a Hope Jeonbuk POST-BI tenant, produces mineral-based functional single-ingredient feed and organic agricultural materials and is focusing on expanding into overseas markets based on its technology.
WineoBio develops and manufactures plant-derived cosmetic raw materials and cosmetic preservatives, and it continues to expand its production scope through customized raw material development for companies. P&F Bio Co., Ltd. is a young company producing trace element fertilizers using rare earth elements and continues to develop products aimed at soil improvement, productivity enhancement, and creating an environmentally friendly agricultural environment.
At the recently held A2B Conference, NPCGen Co., Ltd., which developed microalgae protein extraction technology and an AI voice-based dementia diagnosis platform, was selected as an outstanding startup and received a commendation from the Jeonbuk Regional Office of SMEs and Startups.
