JBNU will cooperate with regional companies practicing ESG management, in line with the national balanced development strategy, to identify future talent and advance development in the Jeonbuk region.

JBNU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DH Group at the University Headquarters on December 8 to promote the development of the Jeonbuk region and strengthen hub national universities. They will actively launch joint projects to cultivate regional talent and revitalize employment.

Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to pursue a range of initiatives, including ▲Workplace-Linked Talent Development ▲Creation of a Region-Based Industrial Ecosystem ▲Industry-Demand–Tailored AI Convergence Education ▲Development of Education and Training Programs Reflecting Corporate Needs ▲Collaboration on Technology Transfer and Commercialization.

JBNU expects this collaboration to be an important driving force in accelerating the transition to a specialized research university and AI-based educational innovation, and in establishing an industry-university-research cooperation model that integrates ESG management principles into regional industrial practice.
