Professor Emeritus Kim Hak-gi of Jeonbuk National University (JBNU), Department of Law, donated 10 million won to the Jeonbuk National University Development Foundation to support the enhancement of the university's competitiveness.

The Jeonbuk National University Development Foundation held a donation ceremony at 3:00 PM on December 3 in the President's Office on the 4th floor of the University Headquarters. President Yang O-bong and key university officials attended the event, and a plaque of appreciation was presented to express gratitude for the donation.

In accordance with the donor's wishes, the fund will be used to enhance the competitiveness of the Law School and to provide student scholarships.

Professor Emeritus Kim passed the bar examination in 1988 and practiced as a lawyer in Seoul and Gunsan. He was appointed as a professor at Jeonbuk National University in 2006, served as dean of the Law School, and has worked to train legal professionals.

Professor Kim urged, 'Please cultivate talent capable of understanding changes in domestic and international affairs and the currents of the era, and of leading the Republic of Korea in the right direction.'
