JBNU SW-Centered University Project Group (Director Professor Kim Seong-chan) will hold the '2025 SW·AI Industry–University–Research Collabo Fair' at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 5, in the Glocal Hall area on the 2nd floor of Jinsu-dang at JBNU.

About 200 people, including IT companies from the Jeonbuk region, officials from Jeollabuk-do and local governments, and JBNU students, will participate to explore ways to strengthen the foundation for youth settlement and to revitalize industry–university collaboration.

The event will focus on company presentations with direct participation by regional IT firms and recruitment consultation booths. Each company will introduce its key technology areas and hiring plans. Students seeking employment in ICT and SW fields can confirm specific recruitment information on-site through one-on-one consultations.

A lecture program to enhance student competitiveness will also be offered. Alongside a distinguished lecture covering communication, self-expression, and speech skills, an AI expert lecture on 'Physical AI-based VLA and Robot Learning' will be held to share the latest technology trends and industry application cases.

In particular, this year's core program, the 'Regional Coexistence Open Talk', will bring together Jeonbuk IT companies, local governments, and the university (students). Participants will freely discuss regional employment, housing, youth support policies, and companies' actual hiring demand. The session is planned as a forum to seek realistic measures to mitigate the outflow of regional talent and support stable settlement.

Project Group Director Kim Seong-chan said, 'This will serve as a venue to build a sustainable ecosystem in which the region, the university, and industry grow together,' and added, 'We will expand opportunities for students to experience industry trends on-site and to plan their futures in the region.'
