Jeonbuk Wildlife Rescue and Management Center (Director Han Jae-ik) operated an educational program on November 26 at Jeongeup San-oe Elementary School for students to understand wildlife ecology and explore related careers.

This program was designed to inform future generations about the importance of ecological conservation and to introduce various occupations related to wildlife rescue, treatment, and protection. The center's veterinary specialists and rescue staff participated, explaining the rescue process, treatment procedures, and natural return procedures. They used photos of actual cases to help students understand.

A hands-on activity was also held in which students could directly participate in the release of a maldonggari that had been rescued and treated. Students showed strong interest and participated actively.

Han Jae-ik, director of the Jeonbuk Wildlife Rescue and Management Center, said, "Through this program, I hope children feel the importance of wildlife and natural ecosystems and that it will serve as an opportunity for them to grow into agents of ecological conservation." He added, "We plan to continue implementing environment and ecology education linked with local schools."

Meanwhile, the Jeonbuk Wildlife Rescue and Management Center is responsible for rescuing and treating injured wildlife in the region and returning them to the wild. It also strives to raise awareness of ecological conservation through ongoing education and public outreach activities.
