The Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Industry-University Cooperation Regional Children's Centers Jeonbuk Support Team, which operates under delegation from Jeollabuk-do Special Self-Governing Province, announced that it successfully held a children's creations exhibition and a Family Love Presentation on the 8th at the Jeollabuk-do Children's Creativity Experience Center. The event was held as part of the 'Support Program for Children Growing as Themselves', carried out with support from the Korea Lottery Commission and the Community Chest of Korea.

The event drew about 400 participants, including children from 40 regional children's centers, center staff, deployed specialists, parents, and local residents. The creations exhibition featured works made by 160 children with learning delays who participated in the 'Support Program for Children Growing as Themselves'. The creative works contest received 41 group entries and 73 individual entries. After external judging, 10 outstanding group works and 6 outstanding individual works were selected. The exhibition displayed 41 group works and the 6 award-winning individual works.

At the Family Love Presentation held alongside the exhibition, children from 13 regional children's centers formed teams of 'na-dapge children' (children with learning delays) and typically developing children to perform on stage. They presented a variety of performances, including sign language, dance, cheerleading, and cup-tapping, completing their performances before local community members. The presentation focused on helping children boost self-esteem and self-efficacy through stage experience and on fostering a sense of solidarity as members of the community.

Kim Seohyun, Chair of the Operating Committee (Professor, Department of Social Welfare, JBNU), said, "The Family Love Presentation provided a valuable time for children to understand one another's differences and to share the joy of growth with their families. We expect these experiences to have a positive impact on children's self-esteem and the formation of social relationships." Choi Hyun-young, Director (Regional Children's Centers Jeonbuk Support Team, JBNU Industry-University Cooperation), stated, "We hope this event will help spread a warm culture of care in which children and families laugh and empathize together. We will continue to cooperate with regional children's centers to create an environment where children can fully realize their potential."

Meanwhile, the Regional Children's Centers Jeonbuk Support Team provides education, consulting, and evaluation support to 287 regional children's centers in the Jeonbuk area. Through various programs such as the 'Support Program for Growing as Themselves', the Career Specialization Support Program, and the Multicultural Support Program, the team delivers high-quality services to children.
