As part of the Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System (RISE), Jeonbuk Saemangeum Tech Platform University (Director Jin-ha Choi) is joining forces with the Jeonju Venture Business Promotion Zone Development Council (JVADA) to promote the creation of local youth employment.

On November 11, the two institutions signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in the education room on the 3rd floor of Jeonju Daejanggan. They agreed to cooperate to develop talent aligned with regional industry demand and to establish a foundation enabling young people to settle in the area.

Through this agreement, the two institutions will pursue multiple measures to strengthen Industry–University Collaboration, including the operation of industry-linked education and field training; support for youth recruitment and internships; company-tailored employment services; and joint research and policy proposals.

Jeonbuk Saemangeum Tech Platform University Director Jin-ha Choi stated, "We will strengthen the connections between education and industry so that young people can learn, grow, and settle in the region." Yoon Mi-young, Secretary-General of the Jeonju Venture Business Promotion Zone Development Council, responded, "We will expand cooperation with universities to create a sustainable local youth employment ecosystem."

With this agreement, the two institutions will accelerate efforts to establish a 'Regional Innovation Talent Development Model' in which local government, industry, and academia grow together.
