Jeonbuk National University Alumni Association (President Choi Byung-seon) held the '2025 Jeonbuk National University Alumni Association President's Cup Golf Tournament' to raise support for the '1,000-Won Breakfast' program for current students.

The tournament, held on the 25th at Dongjeonju Summit CC, was attended by about 130 alumni, including President Choi Byung-seon, who strengthened their bonds and demonstrated support for junior students through the golf event.

Organized to back the '1,000-Won Breakfast' for current students, the tournament enabled alumni to provide a hearty meal for their juniors. Participants used the golf rounds to socialize and, through their warm donations, contributed to improving student welfare at the university.

At a handover ceremony held before the event, Jeonbuk National University Alumni Association President Choi Byung-seon donated 5 million won to the '1,000-Won Breakfast' fund. Director Yang Jin-young (Kim Yang-Park Otorhinolaryngology Clinic) donated 5 million won, and Jeonbuk Bank, Jeonbuk University Branch donated 1 million won.

President Choi Byung-seon said, "Today’s golf tournament is not merely a social gathering but a meaningful occasion in which we alumni come together to express our support for junior students by backing the '1,000-Won Breakfast.'" He added, "When alumni generosity becomes another '1,000-Won Breakfast' and another scholarship, Jeonbuk National University's future will shine even more brightly."
