"I hope this will be a small contribution to achieving Jeonbuk National University (JBNU)'s 7.7 billion won development fund target."

Professor Jeon Gyeong-min of the Department of Accounting at JBNU donated 10 million won to the development fund to wish for the enhancement of the university's competitiveness.

The Jeonbuk National University Development Foundation presented a plaque of appreciation to Professor Jeon Gyeong-min at the President's Office in University Headquarters on April 23 at 2:00 PM, with President Yang O-bong and key university officials in attendance.

Professor Jeon decided to make the donation because he wanted to offer even a small contribution to JBNU's advancement as a Glocal University on the occasion of the university's 77th anniversary.

Professor Jeon said, "I hope JBNU reaches the 7.7 billion won fundraising target planned to strengthen the university's financial soundness," and added, "I expect that through the fund, students in our Department of Accounting will be able to challenge themselves in a better environment to pursue their dreams and grow into outstanding regional talent."

Professor Jeon's donation has been designated for the Department of Accounting and will be used for the department's development and to support students preparing for the Certified Public Accountant and tax accountant examinations.
