"Dear Underclassmen! Have a Coffee and Study Hard!"
Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Alumni Association (President Choi Byung-seon) conducted a snack distribution program for first-semester midterm exams on Thursday, the 18th, at 7:00 p.m. at Alim-ui Street by the Gujeong Gate on campus.
At the event, President Choi personally handed out coffee and beverages prepared by the Alumni Association and cheered the enrolled students.
Director Choi said, "We prepared this snack program to offer some encouragement to younger students who are exhausted during the exam period," and he encouraged the students, "We hope you stay strong for the remainder of the exam period."
One student who received a beverage said, "I never expected a surprise event like this," adding, "When we enter society and begin our economic activities in the future, we would also like to do things that help younger students."
The JBNU Alumni Association plans to carry out various support programs for enrolled students in addition to the midterm snack program, including scholarship support for international students from countries that participated in the Korean War (6.25), a scholarship competition offering KRW 5,000,000 for students' overseas exploration during the break, and the Lee Se-jong Memorial Scholarship.
