Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (Dean Choo Byung-gil) signed a business agreement with Gochang Cheongjeong Organic Dairy Farming Cooperative (Representative Oh Geum-yeol) on the 21st to promote the development of the regional dairy industry and to cultivate talent.

Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate on joint research and education related to organic forage cultivation and husbandry technologies for organic raw milk production, and will work together to advance the regional dairy industry.

On the same day, Gochang Cheongjeong Organic Dairy Farming Cooperative donated KRW 5,000,000 for scholarships to support students of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and pledged ongoing support in the future.

Dean Choo Byung-gil said, 'Through this agreement, we will work together to ensure the development of Jeonbuk's dairy industry and the cultivation of outstanding talent at the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences,' adding, 'We will strive to contribute to the production of high-quality eco-friendly agricultural and livestock products and to the safety of the national food supply.'
