JBNU student ambassadors "Jeonyul," who serve as vanguards in promoting the university internally and externally, received letters of appointment and began a one-year term.

President Yang O-bong presented letters of appointment to 20 newly appointed student ambassadors, including student Kim Ju-seung (Department of Public Administration), and urged them to work to enhance JBNU's image at home and abroad.

President Yang also presented certificates of completion to the 23rd cohort of student ambassadors, including Lee Eun-ho (Department of Earth and Environmental Engineering), in recognition of their service over the past year.

The newly appointed student ambassadors will conduct information sessions for campus visitors, support various events, promote admissions, and lead campus tours.

In particular, to promote the university in line with current trends, they will develop and produce social media content such as card news and vlogs, operate innovative social media channels, and perform various other roles.

President Yang O-bong said, "As the proverb goes, even fine beads must be strung to become a treasure; no matter how excellent the achievements, they will not shine unless they are publicized." He added, "I expect our student ambassadors to play a major role in promoting a student-centered university and a flagship university that leads regional development."

Representative of the 24th cohort of student ambassadors, Kim Ju-seung, said, "I believe the role of ambassadors is vital in widely publicizing our university's strengths. With the passion of youth, I will show more people the true face of JBNU."
