Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) (President Yang O-bong)'s Office of Student Career Support recently awarded outstanding participants in the student‑led career program 'Becoming a Company Master.'
JBNU's 'Becoming a Company Master' is a program in which students select companies they wish to work for and conduct self‑directed company visits to help establish a career path suited to them.
The program operates during each semester break. This winter break, a total of 28 teams (85 students) participated.
Students formed teams, conducted pre‑visit analyses of their target companies, and visited the companies to hear job‑entry tips and other insights from current employees.
At the award ceremony, two teams received the grand prize and cash awards: 'SEM' (Kang Ha‑na, Kim Ha‑young, An Min‑jun, Hwang Hee‑won) from the Division of Advanced Materials Engineering, who thoroughly conducted company analyses and role‑related interviews at SK hynix, Samsung Electronics, and DB HiTek; and 'Nursing Era' (Song Chae‑mi, Lee Hye‑rim, Jeong Hye‑in, Choi Seon‑hwa) from the Department of Nursing, who thoroughly conducted company analyses and interviews at Kyung Hee Medical Center, the National Cancer Center, and Samsung Medical Center.
