Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) (President Yang Oh-bong), selected as the lead university to operate the Jeonbuk–Jeju Regional National Universities Joint Educational Innovation Center (Director Hyunkyung Kim, Professor, Department of Science Education), hosted an outcomes sharing meeting that concluded successfully.

Recently at Jeonju Wangui Jimil, the "2023 Academic Year Jeonbuk–Jeju Regional National Universities Joint Educational Innovation Center" (hereinafter the Jeonbuk–Jeju Joint Educational Innovation Center) Outcomes Sharing Meeting was held. Approximately 30 operations committee members, staff, and other stakeholders from JBNU, Kunsan National University, Jeonju National University of Education, and Jeju National University participated. 

At the meeting, policy research findings and case presentations by outstanding participating students were shared to review achievements to date. Opinions on the program direction for the 2024 academic year were also discussed.

The Jeonbuk–Jeju Joint Educational Innovation Center has developed and operated joint programs over the past three years, including the Jeonbuk–Jeju Regional Living Lab Camp and the Jeonbuk–Jeju Regional National Universities Joint Debate Competition.

It also achieved various outcomes through policy research on learning ethics in remote classes and through establishing the center's vision.

Director Hyunkyung Kim said, "The Jeonbuk–Jeju Joint Educational Innovation Center will advance to become an official channel for substantive student exchange. We will continue our efforts to strengthen the core competencies of students from participating universities as future talent and to promote the sharing of outstanding educational programs and curricula."

Meanwhile, with JBNU as the lead university, the Jeonbuk–Jeju Regional National Universities Joint Educational Innovation Center was established to build a cooperative system for joint education, research, and information sharing. Four universities participate: JBNU, Kunsan National University, Jeonju National University of Education, and Jeju National University.
