Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) (President Yang O-bong) College of Dentistry Dean Yu Mi-gyeong donated 10 million won to the development fund in hopes of enhancing the university's competitiveness.

The Jeonbuk National University Development Foundation held a donation ceremony for the development fund at the President's Office in the University Headquarters on the 24th at 11:00 a.m. President Yang O-bong and other key university officials attended. A plaque of appreciation was presented.

Dean Yu's development fund has been designated as a fund for enhancing university competitiveness and will be used to improve the College of Dentistry's curriculum and educational environment.

Upon beginning her term, Dean Yu decided to make the donation out of a desire to contribute to the development of the College of Dentistry.

Dean Yu Mi-gyeong stated, "Starting with myself, I want to encourage alumni and companies to participate in donations, and I will do my best to ensure the College of Dentistry becomes a dynamic institution commensurate with the university's rising stature."
