JBNU College of Nursing Dean Kim Hyun-ok participated in the 'NO EXIT' campaign to eradicate drugs.
The campaign, led by the National Police Agency and the Korea Anti-Drug Movement Headquarters, began in April to raise awareness of the dangers of drug addiction and to prevent drug-related crime.
The 'NO EXIT' campaign proceeds as a relay in which participants take photos with the message 'NO EXIT — drugs are a maze with no exit; never start' and publish them in the media or on social media, then nominate the next participant.
Dean Kim Hyun-ok said, 'Drug offenses among people in their 20s and 30s have surged, now accounting for as much as 60%. A single moment of curiosity can cost us our beautiful lives,' and added, 'For the sake of health and happiness, refuse drugs. Our choices make the future!'
Meanwhile, Dean Kim nominated Kim Ji-young, President of the Jeollabuk-do Mental Health Nursing Association, as the next participant.
