The friendship of three friends, united under the name Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Law School, was returned as a development fund expressing their affection for their students.

Song Mun-ho (Dean of the Law School at JBNU), Professor Kim Dong-geun (former Dean of the Law School), and attorney Nam Jun-hee (Ongoeul Law Firm), who had served as a professor at the JBNU Law School, donated a total of 30 million won in development funds to the JBNU Law School.

The three friends, who were classmates and experienced changes in legal education firsthand, decided to donate out of a strong commitment to cultivating regional talent.

They hoped the JBNU Law School would become a cradle for outstanding legal professionals with expertise, ethics, and an international outlook, and that, in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, students could pursue their studies in better conditions based on a deep understanding of people and society.

President Kim Dong-won invited them to the university at 4:00 p.m. on September 2 for a development fund donation ceremony, presented plaques of appreciation, and expressed gratitude for the gift, saying, "I hope the JBNU Law School will train excellent legal professionals and that the local community will play a greater role in helping them establish stable careers."
