Industry-University Cooperation (Director Cho Ki-hwan) received the highest rating, e-1 (AAA), in the "2022 Industry-University Cooperation Corporate Credit Evaluation." This rating certifies that the organization possesses top-tier creditworthiness.

The corporate credit evaluation is an indicator that measures the level of credit risk by calculating an institution's creditworthiness from the perspectives of debt-repayment capacity and financial soundness. It is assessed by a government-accredited agency.

Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Industry-University Cooperation was highly rated across growth (measured by total assets and sales growth), profitability (including return on total capital and operating profit from sales), stability (current ratio, dependence on borrowings, equity ratio, debt ratio), and activity (total asset turnover and accounts receivable turnover).

In particular, JBNU Industry-University Cooperation stated that it received a favorable evaluation due to increased net income driven by improved research grant acquisition performance and through consistent management of transparent financial and cash flow statements and debt ratios.

Cho Ki-hwan, Director of Industry-University Cooperation, said, "This top rating is a clear demonstration of the efficient management capability and excellent creditworthiness of an industry-university cooperation foundation operated by a national institution," and added, "Because, in evaluations for service procurement bids, up to 30 of the maximum 80 points available for technical capability assessment can be reflected according to a company's business-condition credit rating, we will redouble our efforts in selecting and securing service projects."
