The Continuing Education Center (Director Yang Byung-ho) is recruiting students for the 2022 second semester until August 12. Second-semester courses will run from September 5 (Monday) through December 28 (Wednesday).
To fulfill the lifelong learning needs of local residents and to provide learning opportunities that reflect demand, the Continuing Education Center has prepared six divisions for the second semester—Division of Educational Welfare, Division of Lifelong Liberal Arts, Division of Language and Literature, Division of Sports and Health, Division of Arts, and Division of Vocational Education—and 228 courses.
In addition, new humanities courses have been added to enhance local residents' humanities literacy, including French Culture & Arts Excursion, Film Humanities, and Critical Reading and Writing. These additions make the program more diverse and higher-quality than before.
Director Yang Byung-ho said, "We will do our best to restore the vitality of life for local residents exhausted by COVID-19 through humanities courses, and to realize a community of lifelong learners in the region by offering various continuing education courses."
Applications for the 2022 second semester at Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Continuing Education Center are open to any adult residing in the Jeonbuk area. Applications may be submitted online (https://cec.jbnu.ac.kr/), by phone (063-288-0022), or in person (13 Hyeonmu 2-gil, Wansan-gu, Jeonju).
