JBNU held the 'JBNU President's Cup Badminton Tournament' to promote communication and harmony with local residents, receiving strong support from the community.

JBNU demonstrated warm partnership with the local community on the 18th and 19th, when some 300 teams and approximately 600 local residents participated in the tournament held at the gymnasium.

Conducted as part of the Ministry of Education's National University Development Project, the tournament brought together local residents and university representatives. Teams competed in mixed doubles, men's doubles, and women's doubles, enjoying a time of camaraderie through spirited matches.

In particular, JBNU plans to continue community recreational sports events, beginning with this tournament and followed by a tennis tournament in November.

President Kim Dong-won said, 'As the region's representative university, we have been steadily creating venues for harmony to fulfill our role as a regional hub university that coexists with the community,' adding, 'We will strive to ensure that the university's excellent infrastructure can be utilized to enrich the lives of local residents.'
