Jeonbuk International Development Cooperation Center (Director Park Heung-sik) will hold the regular ODA training course "Understanding KOICA Projects" in person for the first time in three years.
Run jointly with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the course provides training on the full range of KOICA projects, from an introduction to how to participate in KOICA programs to project understanding, planning, procurement, implementation, operation, and management.
Through this training, the Center helps to close the annual education gap in ODA (Official Development Assistance) and development cooperation in the Jeonbuk region and contributes significantly to promoting participation in related projects.
This year's in-person training will be offered as a 12-hour program over two days, from June 27 to 28, and will be held at the New Silkroad Center, Jeonbuk National University (JBNU).
Following this course, follow-up programs on "PDM (Project Design Matrix) Writing Practice" and "Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)" will be conducted in the second half of the year to further enhance the quality of training.
Meanwhile, the Jeonbuk International Development Cooperation Center was established through a tripartite MOU among KOICA, Jeollabuk-do, and JBNU. The Center conducts ODA awareness-raising education (including global citizenship education), ODA project briefings, and various advisory and promotional activities to promote regional internationalization, Official Development Assistance, and participation in projects.
