In this evaluation, JBNU ranked 12th worldwide and 1st in Korea in Partnerships for the Goals. It was 23rd worldwide and 1st domestically in Affordable and Clean Energy, and 47th worldwide and 1st domestically in No Poverty.
It also placed within the global top 100, ranking 59th in Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure and 86th in Zero Hunger. It was also listed within the top 100 in Clean Water and Sanitation, Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Life Below Water.
JBNU has been strengthening cooperative systems with local companies and research institutes to realize its goals of a 'Substantial University' and a 'Warm Companionship' with the local community.
President Kim Dong-won said, "It seems the evaluation reflects our progress toward our university's slogan, 'Substantial University, Warm Companionship,' which seeks to create the university's future value through empathy and convergence," adding, "We will strive to strengthen the university's substance and continue to walk warmly together with the region."
