The Jeonbuk Branch of the Korean Academy of Family Medicine (Chairman 이상권; JBNU School of Medicine, 18th Class) donated KRW 5,000,000 to Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) School of Medicine as a development fund. In addition, Chairman 이상권 personally donated KRW 3,000,000 that day as an alumnus.
On the afternoon of the 14th, a donation ceremony was held attended by Chairman 이상권 (이상권 가정의학과의원), former chairman 이행훈 (삼성가정의학과의원), auditor 유동균 (클레오미용성형클리닉), and JBNU School of Medicine Dean 임석태, Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs 권근상, and Vice-Dean for Education 강경표.
Chairman 이상권 and other representatives discussed the further development of JBNU School of Medicine beyond its role as a regional base medical school. They also exchanged views on the importance of family medicine in primary care and the need for training skilled personnel.
