Professor Emeritus Oh-hwan Kim (College of Dentistry) recently presented a development fund of KRW 10 million to Dean Seo Bong-jik, stating that he wished to contribute to the College of Dentistry's continued development and the education of future scholars.

Professor Kim served as dean of the College of Dentistry from its first through fourth terms, making significant contributions to the establishment and foundation of Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) College of Dentistry. He has held positions including director of a dental research institute, vice president of the Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and president of the Future Implant Research Association.

Dean Seo Bong-jik said, "The younger scholars of our College of Dentistry remember Professor Oh-hwan Kim's passion, and we are doing our utmost to realize the dream he helped cultivate. We will use the donated fund for improvements to students' educational environment and related purposes."
