Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) College of Education, Department of Physical Education alumnus Kim Byung-kwon, head of the Korea–China Sports Division at E-Land World Co., Ltd., was recently appointed as the new CEO of Seoul E-Land FC.

Since joining E-Land in 1992, Kim has served as head of the Puma Division and the New Balance Division, and worked as Global CEO of K-Swiss. From 2017 until last year, he served as head of the Korea–China Sports Division, making him a sports industry expert who has held major positions across the group.

As head of the Puma Division, Kim established ties with the E-Land Puma football team and strengthened the brand image by leveraging sponsorships of 2002 World Cup star players. From a marketing perspective, he successfully led the division, organizing events such as the "2002 Puma Soccer Festival," which was the first football event held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium since its opening.

Having worked across various sports brands within the E-Land Group, CEO Kim—who majored in physical education—has been recognized as an expert in the field. Based on his practical knowledge and experience in management and marketing, he is expected to professionalize the club's management as a top executive.

New Seoul E-Land FC CEO Kim Byung-kwon said, "I have always taken pride in being an alumnus of the College of Education, Department of Physical Education at JBNU. I will apply the knowledge and know-how I have gained both in the field and at the desk to Seoul E-Land FC. Seoul E-Land FC's goal for 2022 is promotion to K League 1, and I will do my utmost to achieve that."
