“I hope excellent talents at Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) will continue to nurture their dreams.”

Oh Seung-hwan, director of Oh Seung-hwan Healing Dental Clinic in Jeonju, donated 10 million won to a development fund, asking that it be used to support the cultivation of outstanding talent at the School of Dentistry at JBNU.

Director Oh has consistently contributed to the local community, including providing scholarships to the School of Dentistry at Wonkwang University, where he served for about 20 years, and to students living in Gimje.

Having long believed that nurturing outstanding talent at regional universities is vital to regional development, Director Oh decided to make the donation in the hope that the regional flagship national university, JBNU, would cultivate the talent to lead regional development.

Director Oh said, “I want to contribute even a little toward JBNU, which is leading regional development, in nurturing outstanding talent that will lead regional development,” and added, “I hope the funds will be used meaningfully to help students at the School of Dentistry who are pursuing grand dreams grow into outstanding talents.”
