The Entrepreneurship Education Center (Director Hwang Un-jung) and the LINC+ Project Group (Director Go Young-ho) donated 1,500 briquettes to the Jeonju Briquette Bank (Representative Yun Guk-chun) on the 16th.

The donated briquettes were funded by proceeds from sales of products by student start-up clubs and student companies at a fundraising "Entrepreneurship Talk" concert hosted by Go Young-bae of the band Soran during the October 26, 2021 "2021 Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Youth Entrepreneurship Culture Day."

The "2021 Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Youth Entrepreneurship Culture Day" promoted and sold products from JBNU student start-up clubs and start-up companies and, as in previous years, also included a briquette donation to help elderly and low-income residents vulnerable to the winter cold due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

Go Young-ho, Director of the JBNU LINC+ Project Group, said, "We are pleased to be able to share some warmth and support with neighbors in need through the outstanding achievements of our student start-ups," adding, "As a university that grows together with the local community, we will continue to work on developing various online programs and planning initiatives for marginalized neighbors."

Meanwhile, the JBNU LINC+ Project Group is carrying out various initiatives for marginalized neighbors, including maintenance work and electrical safety inspections as part of the "Jeonju Old Downtown Regional Safety Innovation Project" to help at-risk households live safely.
