Divsion of Public Science (Head Kang Moon-kyung) produced the largest number of successful applicants in the 2022 Law School admissions.
On the 15th, the Divsion of Public Science announced that it produced a total of 10 successful applicants to Law Schools including Jeonbuk National University (JBNU), Chonnam National University, and Wonkwang University.
This is the second such achievement following last year’s production of 10 successful applicants. It is assessed that various student support measures — including support from the Innovation Support Project Group and a jointly conducted law firm experiential program under an agreement between the Divsion of Public Science and the Jeollabuk-do Local Bar Association — have contributed to these positive outcomes.
In addition, in the 32nd Certified Appraiser Examination held this year, Kim Hye-jin (class of 2017), a student of the Divsion of Public Science, passed, demonstrating that JBNU’s student support for the Divsion of Public Science is yielding positive results across multiple areas.
Law School admittee Lee Cho-ro (class of 2017) said, "Had I prepared for Law School on my own, it would have required much more time and effort and I would have been more anxious. Thanks to the Division's various support programs and its independently operated initiatives, I believe I could achieve this good result. I would like to tell juniors preparing for Law School that if they fully participate in the various activities run by the Division, they will surely be able to achieve similarly good results."
Kang Moon-kyung, Head of the Divsion of Public Science, said, "I am pleased that the tailored student support programs we have implemented so far appear to be achieving the intended results. Once COVID-19 subsides and face-to-face activities expand, we will further accelerate the operation of programs for undergraduates preparing for Law School, such as law firm experiential opportunities."
