An Chun-yeop, CEO of Hanil Driving School, donated 10 million won, asking that it be used to enhance university competitiveness.

Mr. An, who served as the inaugural chair of Jeonbuk National University (JBNU)'s Integrated Executive Program, has continued his support for the university, including donating a development fund to mark his completion of the first Executive Program in 2013. The total amount he has donated to date reaches 52 million won.

Mr. An's continued donations to JBNU reflect his personal desire to support the cultivation of talent that will lead regional development from a regional hub university.

He said there would be no greater reward than cultivating outstanding talent who will contribute to regional and national development by enhancing the university's competitiveness and providing scholarships to students.

Accordingly, JBNU invited Mr. An to the university at 3:00 p.m. on December 7 to hold a ceremony for the donation of the development fund and expressed its gratitude by presenting a plaque of appreciation.

An Chun-yeop said, "I decided to make ongoing donations and put them into practice because I wanted to make a small contribution to a regional flagship national university that serves as a driving force for regional development by helping to cultivate outstanding talent who will lead regional development. I hope JBNU will grow further into a university representing the Republic of Korea, and that students will grow into the talent who will lead regional and national development."
