JBNU recently announced the 2014 admissions plan (draft) and is recruiting outstanding students.
According to the admissions plan announced by JBNU, the total number of recruits is 4,503, comprising 4,124 within the quota and 379 outside the quota. Any changes to the number of openings due to adjustments of enrollment capacity will be announced later on the JBNU admissions information website.
By selection type, in Early Admission Round 1 (Admissions Officer Screening), JBNU will select 653 students, representing 14.5% of the total recruits. Within the quota, 403 will be admitted through the Keun-Saram Selection and 30 as Regional Harmony Talents. Outside the quota, 127 Rural Students and 93 through the Equal Opportunity selection will be chosen.
In Early Admission Round 2, JBNU will select 1,699 students in total. Within the quota, 1,511 are general students, 44 are national contributors, and 57 are special talent applicants. Outside the quota, 68 are graduates of specialized high schools and 19 are applicants eligible for special education.
In the Regular Admissions, which are divided into groups, 1,013 (22.5% of the total) will be admitted under Group A, and 1,138 (25.3% of the total) under Group B.
Application periods are: Early Admission Round 1, September 4–9; Round 2, September 10–13. Successful candidates will be announced on December 5 at 2:00 PM. Regular admissions for both Group A and Group B will be held December 19–23, and successful candidates will be announced on January 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
