Prospective childcare teachers graduating from JBNU are expected to find employment easier in the future.

This is because the Department of Child Studies and the Hansol Education Hope Foundation recently signed an MOU to give priority to hiring JBNU graduates for childcare teacher positions.

The Hansol Education Hope Foundation oversees 26 workplace daycare centers nationwide on a commissioned basis, including centers at the National Assembly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Hyundai Motor Company. Its parent company is Hansol Education, which popularized early childhood education in Korea through the 'Amazing Country' series.

Under the agreement, the two institutions will open and operate necessary curricula to provide tailored education, and will collaborate on childcare policy consultation and joint research.

In particular, they agreed to allow students to undertake internships and field training at daycare centers operated by the Hansol Education Hope Foundation, and to closely cooperate on practical training for students who complete Industry–University Collaboration programs.

Chae Jin-young, Head of the Department of Child Studies, said, 'We expect that exchanges and cooperation with the Hansol Education Hope Foundation, the country's leading institution in childcare, will brighten employment prospects for JBNU students,' and added, 'Going forward, the two institutions will establish tailored curricula and take the lead in practical training such as field training so that students can secure employment at better institutions.'
