    Residents Choi In-seon and Kim In-ju Recognized for Outstanding Dental Treatment Research

    Residents Choi In-seon and Kim In-ju of the Department of Prosthodontics, Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Hospital were recently recognized for outstanding research at the Korean Academy of Prosthodontics 2013 Spring Meeting and the Korea–China–Japan International Conference held in Jeju.

    At the meeting, Choi In-seon received the Excellent Case Presentation Award for the study titled "Full-Mouth Rehabilitation with Zirconia All-Ceramic Crown."

    The study was praised as an exemplary case in prosthodontics, as full-mouth rehabilitation restored a severely compromised oral condition and provided the patient with maximal satisfaction and improved esthetics.

    In addition, Kim In-ju presented a study titled "Effect of TiO2 Nanotubes as a Drug Reservoir on Cell Responses" and received the Excellent Case Poster Award.

    The study was evaluated as an example that could enable the introduction of a new technology using titanium dioxide (TiO2) for implant surface treatment. It was considered a promising development for the advancement and future prospects of implant materials.
