At 8:00 PM on April 24, a heartwarming scene unfolded at the entrance of the Learning Library of our university. President Seo Geoseok and university administrators distributed sandwiches and milk to each student heading to the library to prepare for midterm exams, patting their shoulders in encouragement.

“Keep up your spirits and study hard.” “Thank you.” The words of encouragement handed out with the snacks lifted students' spirits and brought warm smiles to the president and administrators.

President Seo and the administrators, who without fail visit students every new semester and exam period, visited the students again for the midterms.

What began as an event expected to be one-off has continued for three years, and more students are now offering words of thanks. Some students said they felt not only simple communication but also the care of parents who worry about and look after their children.

Park Bo‑kyung, a second‑year student in the Department of Semiconductor Science and Technology, who received a snack that day, said, “When I was a freshman last year, I was very surprised to see the president personally handing out snacks. It was a great encouragement that they came to see students again during this exam period.” She added, “I am grateful to the president and the administrative faculty members.”
