    Appointment of Seung Yung-bae as New Vice-President for Administrative Affairs

    Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) has appointed Seung Yung-bae, Deputy Superintendent of the Chungnam Office of Education, as its new Vice-President for Administrative Affairs.

    Born in Asan, Chungnam, the new Vice-President for Administrative Affairs, Seung Yung-bae, graduated from the Department of Law at Konkuk University and earned both a master’s and a doctoral degree in Public Administration from its graduate school.

    Seung passed the 32nd national civil service examination and entered public service in 1989. He has held key positions including at the Prime Minister's Secretariat and the Office for Government Policy Coordination; Director of the Policy Coordination Division at the Ministry of Education; Director of the Junior College Support Division at the Ministry of Education; Director of the Planning and Management Office at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education; Vice-President for Administrative Affairs at Mokpo National University; and Deputy Superintendent of the Chungnam Office of Education.

    Valued for prioritizing internal communication and recognized as a seasoned education administrator whose experience spans higher, primary, and secondary education, the new Vice-President Seung is widely regarded as well qualified to make significant contributions to JBNU’s development.
