“We will do our best to enhance Jeonbuk National University (JBNU)'s image and strengthen its competitiveness.”
Fifteen students from JBNU's 13th cohort of Student Ambassadors received letters of appointment and embarked on a one-year term of activities to promote the university.
JBNU held an appointment ceremony for the 13th Student Ambassadors and a completion ceremony for the 12th Student Ambassadors on the afternoon of March 6 in the President's Office.
President Seo Geoseok presented certificates of completion to 15 students who had served over the past year, including student Lee Hyo-gyu (a graduate of the Department of Animal Science), and conferred appointment certificates on 15 newly selected ambassadors, including Han Garam, a third-year student in the Department of Social Welfare.
Accordingly, the Student Ambassadors will carry out a variety of activities, including support for external events, admissions promotion, conducting campus tours for visitors, and online promotion.
Han Garam, a member of the 13th cohort, said, "Wearing the ambassador uniform today and receiving the appointment certificate from the President gives me a greater sense of responsibility," adding, "I will strive to promote JBNU's outstanding achievements and positive image externally to help enhance the university's competitiveness."
