Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) has decided to strengthen its industry–university collaboration framework through a Family Company Agreement with KBS Jeonju Broadcasting Bureau (Director Yang Hee-seop).
Through this agreement, students' on-site broadcasting internships and technology and information exchanges will be conducted closely, and it is expected to accelerate students' entry into the broadcasting sector.
In this regard, on March 6 at 11:30 a.m., the two institutions held a signing ceremony in the Headquarters' conference room attended by President Seo Geo-seok, Director Yang Hee-seop, and other senior officials from both organizations.
Under the agreement, both institutions will exchange research and field personnel in the broadcasting sector. They will also share technology and information by conducting Technology Transfer related to broadcasting and by hosting seminars.
They will jointly utilize each other's equipment and facilities, and will actively support on-site internships so that students can obtain employment in broadcasting-related occupations.
President Seo Geo-seok said, "We have long maintained cooperative relations with the KBS Jeonju Broadcasting Bureau to cultivate professional broadcasting personnel and promote regional development. I am pleased that through today's agreement we have pledged to develop this into a family relationship," and added, "I expect that this Family Company Agreement will further upgrade the competitiveness of both institutions."
