The University Museum (Director Lee Tae-young) is strengthening its exhibition guidance by retraining cultural guides active in the local community as exhibition guides.

To this end, the University Museum, in cooperation with the Deokjin Senior Welfare Center in Jeonju, ran an exhibition guide training program from February 19 to 26.

Forty-two cultural guides participated in this exhibition guide training. After completing the program, ten exhibition guides will be deployed to the museum beginning the new semester to provide visitors with high-quality interpretation.

This initiative aims to attract local cultural guides to foster public engagement with the region's history, culture, and arts, and to provide museum visitors with useful information through accessible explanations of the exhibitions.

This is the first time a university museum has recruited and operated local cultural guides as exhibition guides, and it is expected to serve as an example of the university's enthusiastic commitment to sharing high-quality cultural content with local residents.
