The orientation is intended to help incoming students begin university life by providing key information about the university. This year, unlike previous years, the program was divided into three teams and organized as a one-night, two-day schedule. It featured a variety of special lectures and programs that allowed students to preview university life.

On the following day, students gathered by college for detailed explanations of departmental curricula, career guidance, and a range of department-specific programs tailored to each major.
In his welcome address, Executive Vice-President Jeong Hang-geun said, 'Four years of university life is a very important period in which the direction of your life is determined. JBNU will do its utmost to help each of you achieve the dreams you hope for.'
