Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) achieved the highest pass rate nationwide on the recently held National Veterinary Licensing Examination.

The College of Veterinary Medicine had 47 candidates sit the examination, of whom 45 passed, recording a pass rate of 95.7%.

This result significantly exceeds this year's national average pass rate of 85.7% and is the highest among the ten universities nationwide that have a College of Veterinary Medicine.

Since 2005, JBNU has achieved a perfect 100% pass rate six times. Despite a larger number of unsuccessful candidates at universities nationwide this year compared with previous years, JBNU secured the top results nationwide, reaffirming its position as the premier training ground for veterinarians in the country.

JBNU's excellent results are the product of the university's generous institutional support combined with students' continuous efforts for self-development.

When students reach their fourth year, they form study groups to prepare for the examination. As part of a career competency enhancement program, the university's systematic, institution-wide preparation system — including in-house mock exams, the development of a question bank, and discussion-based problem-solving approaches — has been the driving force.

Kim In-sik, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, said, "The university's generous support to enhance students' educational competitiveness, the systematic exam preparation system, and the students' efforts have worked together to produce strong results for several years," and added, "We will continue to strive to provide students with better environments for study and to help them grow into accomplished individuals."
