Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) alumnus Kim Chang-su (Class of '78, Department of Agricultural Economics) has been appointed as the 35th Head of the Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.
The newly appointed head, Kim, has for more than 35 years worked to create vibrant agriculture and rural communities. He is widely recognized as a leading figure in the distribution of regional agricultural specialty products.
Kim said, 'I am grateful to be able to serve in Jeonbuk, a province with boundless potential in the agricultural sector,' and added, 'I will focus on maximizing the potential of my home province Jeonbuk to create livable rural communities and a thriving agricultural sector.'
A native of Gimje, Jeonbuk, Kim graduated from JBNU's Department of Agricultural Economics. He has served as Head of the Distribution Revitalization Team, Head of the Joint Marketing Team, Head of the Gochang Branch, Deputy Head of the Jeonbuk Economic Business Division, Deputy Head of the Economic Planning Division, Head of the Economic Restructuring Division, and Head of the Horticulture Business Division at the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.
